Gorr has become one of my favorite comic book villains. I can get behind his idea of a world without gods, really. So many gods are total fricking douchebags.
Take the story of Medusa... she got raped by Poseidon in Athena's temple. Athena got pissed and turned her into a monster, because... somehow having gotten raped is her fault? What kind of logic is that? And that's coming from the so-called Goddess of Wisdom?!
And you find countless stories like that about gods across countless pantheons. Oh, and monotheistic almighty Gods are no exception, either. So, uh, go Gorr!
